Standing Up a Sovereign AI Factory in Under 6 Months

Transforming Taiwan’s SME Economy with Strive and Chailease

Overview

Chailease is a $250B financial services and leasing conglomerate serving over 400,000 SMEs across Asia. As one of Taiwan’s most influential family-owned enterprises, Chailease faced an urgent need to modernize its legacy infrastructure and lead in the next era of AI-driven services.

The Opportunity

With deep reach into Southeast Asia’s industrial base, Chailease saw a growing demand for real-time AI tools across underwriting and lending workflows. But serving this market required more than software—it needed local compute, enterprise deployment support, and a new operating model.

Strive’s Role

Strive partnered with Chailease to stand up a sovereign-grade AI factory in under six months. By repurposing existing infrastructure, we rapidly deployed NVIDIA-powered compute systems, implemented our agentic AI stack, and mobilized field teams to support SME rollouts.

Why It Matters

This is the first proof point for how family-owned enterprises can transform existing infrastructure into operational AI factories. The initiative targets 90–100% GPU utilization by year two, with expansion into new APAC markets planned through co-investment and shared operating models.
